First, secure the CAP by hand by aligning the threads (Figure 1).
Use a torque wrench to further tighten it as shown in Figures 2 and 3 (minimum Torque: 3.5kgf•m) ※ However, please note that the minimum torque is based on testing with water, and the minimum torque may vary depending on the chemical used.
If tightenedexcessively, the inner CAP will wear out and there is a risk of the CAP over capping.
If you lock the CAPonly by hand, the substance inside may leak, so please use a torque wrench to lock it.
How to Install a Seal Cap (M-type Jerrycan)
After locking the cap completely, place the seal cap so that the anti-counterfeit groove of the seal cap (Figure 1) and the anti-counterfeit jaw of the handle (Figure 2) are aligned. Then, press it gently until you hear a “click” sound (Figure 3).
If the anti-counterfeit groove in the seal cap and the anti-counterfeit jaw in the handle do not match, the effectiveness of the seal will be reduced.
If you apply excessive force when installing the seal cap, the seal cap and vent cap filter may be damag
Precautions
A product filled with a substance should always be stored and handled upright (especially vent cap products).
Beforefastening the cap, the container must be secured so that it does not move.
Make sure that the product does not hit sharp parts such as nails or corners.
When loading on the pallet, the container must be placed such that it does not fall off the pallet (there is a risk of the container being crushed).
During storage, avoid exposure to direct sunlight (ultraviolet rays) and store at room temperature in a well-ventilated area (ultraviolet rays cause deterioration ofthe physical properties of the container).
